Our platform asks

Four priorities for the next council

Every candidate at the September 9 Open House will be asked where they stand on each of these.

Consult early and often

Priority 01

Engage farmers, growers, builders, realtors and local industry before major decisions are made — not after.

What we're asking

Commit to a published consultation window with industry and agriculture before any zoning, drainage or servicing decision reaches a vote.

Fiscal responsibility and transparency

Priority 02

Support housing, agriculture and industry with practical zoning so families and workers can live, work and thrive here.

What we're asking

Publish a plain-language budget summary and report quarterly on capital projects against plan.

Invest in infrastructure

Priority 03

Maintain roads, bridges, drainage and servicing that work for modern equipment, farm operations and new construction.

What we're asking

Set a multi-year, funded plan for roads, bridges and drainage prioritized by economic and agricultural use.

Priority 04

Ensure fair and sustainable taxes

Keep a simple, transparent tax system and avoid shifting the burden between residential, farm, industrial and commercial classes.

What we're asking

No new class shifting without an independent impact review shared publicly before the vote.
